Spiritual Messages
How the Mind Works
"Thoughts are things." - Emmet Fox
"All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think,
we become." - Buddha
"Honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long upon the earth." - Jesus Christ
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen." - 1 Corinthians 13
"Gratitude compels God to action." - Anonymous
In order for any message to be effective it would be ideal if one could hear the affirmations so that both the
conscious and subconscious could accept them as Truth. The affirmations should contain something to direct
the subconscious to accept them as Truth. For example, if every affirmation ends with the phrase "I believe
that; I affirm that" this directs the subconscious to alter any conflicting beliefs.

But this is still not effective for demonstration purposes, remember that the
conscious mind is "where the
action is" so the message must somehow awaken the conscious mind and fire up the imagination. In the quote
above from Corinthians the author suggests that "Faith" is the creative power. By faith the author does not
mean believing but understanding. It is understanding the is the prelude and causative power of a
demonstration. Gratitude will always, eventually, bring any desired result into reality because gratitude is both
Faith and Love in action. Combining these two an affirmation that begins with "Thank you God that" and ends
with "I understand that" brings the spiritual forces of the universe to bear on producing the desired
demonstration. It would also fire up the imagination, however, the listener should be made aware that images
related to the affirmations may suddenly and without warning appear in their imagination and instead of
rejecting them the listener should concentrate on them.

In conclusion, an example of an effective spiritual message would be "Thank you God that I am happy,
healthy, whole, and free. I believe that; I affirm that. I understand that." I know that this works because if it
didn't I would not be alive today.
The notion of the unconscious receiving messages directly through finer perceptive mechanisms than
available to the conscious mind is based upon a  theory of the unconscious proposed by Sigmund Freud.
Freud taught that the driving force behind human behavior is the unconscious mind. He described the mind
as being like an iceberg with most of the mass (the unconscious) below the surface. According to Freud, it is
out of this internal (subterranean) unconscious abyss, of which we are unaware, that our external behavior
arises. Therefore, the promoters of subliminals are basically Freudian, most without even knowing it. Also,
most are unaware that
Freud's ideas about the unconscious and other matters have been discredited
because they have not been supported either neurologically or scientifically

I have spent and wasted a lot of money on subliminal CDs. I eventually decided to make my own spiritual messages
and put them out in mp3 format so that I could listen to them while I worked at my computer. I designed the
spiritual messages especially for a male, me. I am offering these spiritual mp3 to you for
US$ 9.95 each.

The price of these recording will help to ensure that I can continue to maintain this site.
